ANDERSON, ECKFORD, HARVEY, McCALLUM, STORIEThese are some of the many Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada surnames that came to Anacortes and Mt. Vernon before the turn of the century. I am an ANDERSON and McCALLUM descendant and also related to the ECKFORD, HARVEY and STORIE families. I am researching the family history of the above families and willing to share information. BLANKENBECKLER, BLANK
Marion J. BLANKENBECKLER came to Skagit Co. before 1900 and is on the
1900, 1910 and 1920 census there. He married Rebecca C. THOMPSON in
Blount Co., TN and she died in 1916. He had three children: Zeno b. Sep.
1888 who shortened his name to BLANK, and married Raitta about 1919;
Olea b. Jan 1890 and Irene b. Dec 1892. I have been unable to find out
who Olea and Irene married. Zeno died in 1942 in McRae. I would like to
make contact with anyone who can help me on those three children and
their families or tell me what happened to them, where they are buried,
etc. Marion J. was my great great grandfather's first cousin and I know
the family background, but not the Washington state descendants.
Thanks. Hallie in Dallas, 1/99

I don't recognize any of them as my family, but thank you for sending
them.
Since talking to you, I've discovered by family, John R. & Mary E. Smith
sold a large farm in Sedro Woolley, Skagit County. This must have
happened before 1910, because I did a line by line search on the 1910
Census for Sedro Woolley and did not find them. Is there a place I
could write to get a copy of the transaction of selling that farm?
SPOONLooking for information on my great grandfather Glenn Franklin
SPOON. According to the WA state death index he died 17 Dec 1927 in
Skagit County. My grandmother was only two when he died and always
thought he was in Bremerton, Kitsap, WA when he died. Would someone be
willing to check for and obit or cemetery listing for him. We know that
he was married twice his first wife and he had twins- Frankie and
Francis (both girls) and his second wife was my great grandmother
Antoinette Evelyn Amelia TROMPCZYNSKI. I thINK that his second marriage took
place somewhere around 1917. Darlene Johnson, 9/98

IN fact, their names are on the memorial at the water
Pete Tony Suryan is my husband's father. His father may have been Petros
