SELAH HIGH SCHOOL
Selah Washington
1940 Fruitspur

The 1940 Fruitspur yearbook for Selah High School was published by a student staff lead by student editor Marian Baker. There are ads for two different printers and engravers...

This book has a terrific engraving of a viking ship on it's cover (difficult to see with the jpeg graphics I use). The cover color is a deep purple. This book uses color pages to separate the different sections. It is 38 pages long with 4 pages of advertisers.

The book belonged to June Pingrey, a freshman. It was signed by many students.

I have created keywords (surnames) for the class pages and several others to help with the online indexing. The student editors identified all students in the group class pictures by both first and surname and also did a great job of identifing students in activity pictures and sports...Please check these pages as I did not keyword them for indexing.

This book was scanned at 100 dpi... this won't give the best printed page but does allow for better clarity in reading the text. It was scanned by volunteers at 3rd St. Book Exchange, Marysville WA. The book is part of a FREE genealogy library that contains over 5200 yearbooks. This presentation and the scanned images are not to be duplicated without the express permission of the webmaster Exception is made for personal use of relatives pictures... (this is suppose to be FREE genealogy/history after all). Better pictures can be scanned...
